The Department of Foreign Language Education at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, in cooperation with Çankaya University and Süleyman Demirel University, will hold an international conference devoted to language, literature, and culture. Our main is to provide a forum for discussion and to facilitate integration in these fields  and to bring together researchers, scholars, and students from all areas of language, literature, culture, and other related disciplines from all around the world. The conference will be held over three days, from 12 to 14 May (Thursday – Saturday) 2016 in Burdur, Turkey.
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers, scholars and students from all areas of language, literature, culture and other related disciplines. You may participate as panel organizer, presenter of one paper, chair a session or observer.
All submissions to the conference will be reviewed by at least two independent peers for technical merit and content.

Keynote: Jarosław KRAJKA 

University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw
Associate Professor at University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. He got his Ph.D. in CALLfrom Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznańand his habilitated doctor’s degree from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of a major Poland-based CALL journal Teaching English with Technology (http://tewtjournal.org), and a reviewer for a number of journals from the USA, Japan, Spain, the UK, Malaysia, Nigeria and Poland. His major publications are monographs English Language Teaching in the Internet-Assisted Environment (2005) and The Language Teacher in the Digital Age (2012).
His talk will be on ‘Culture-sensitive language teaching in the era of multilingualism – Escaping the linguistic hegemony in multi-ethnic classrooms‘.

Abstracts will be published as an ebook with ISBN on the conference website. (click here to reach the book of abstracts). However, the presenters willing to submit their full papers to be published in the conference proceedings will be provided with more information following the conference. Conference presenters are also encouraged to submit their conference papers to JLERE (Journal of Language Education and Research).  It is incumbent on authors to ensure that their papers meet the standards expected of JLERE journal articles.
